		2003: The continuing research for new materials, which has always characterized Elleci, reaches a new milestone: Vitrotek. An exclusive and unique material made of resin and pure glass particles. As you know, the glass has specific qualities that make it an ideal element for many uses, especially in the kitchen environment. Equally hygienic are its properties, larger particles and traditional resin. It is completely anallergic and antibacterial, resistant, hygienic, antistatic and stable in colour.
		2005: Elleci presents a Vitrotek formulation with a smoother surface and a ‘silky effect’. Reduced section of the sphere for a silky effect but still relatively rough.

2011: Elleci presents Vitrotek 3G Microspheric characterized by the use of micronized
and microsection spheres with the application of “special resin”.
The result is a completely smooth surface of the sink.

Antibacterial: Ultra-smooth surface. Non-porous, hydrophobic and lipophobic.

THE NATURE OF THE GLASS: According to its composition and its thermical history,
the glass is hard at room temperature (it has hardness 7.5 on the Mohs scale),
it is non-porous,  with a strong characteristic of shining, it refracts light rays in a remarkable way.
Glass is the most suitable material for manufacturing of objects destined to food industry.
It is certainly a material hygienic: non-toxic and is very resistant to time degradation.
Among the many qualities of glass there is also the total absence of toxicity.

Improved hardness of the surface maintained unchanged:
initial unchanged qualities thanks to the extremely compact surface.
The materials used by Elleci are positioned only a few points lower in the Mohs scale,
compared to some natural elements as diamond hard par excellence.

Compact: surface density optimized thanks to the microspheric section of glass.
Easy to clean: doubled flow on the surface of liquids than traditional materials. ½ water absorption:
using glass microspheres and “special resin” of hydrophobic monomer (it does not absorb water)  the water absorption is improved: 40% less than the best materials present on the market today.
Consequently, is further enhanced the resistance to bleaching.

Vitrotek 3G colours range

It attracts the eye, inviting to the touch. Aesthetical impact, adaptability to steel, functionality and practicality of Granitek.
The chemical composition is made up natural granite, acrylic resin and, like all the sinks manufactured with the technological leaderchip G.P.S. system, has an even mass resulting in high resistance to scratches, stains, impact and temperature changes.
The uniqueness of this product is that have been added the metal particles, making the product with a brilliant and shining finish.
The target is to obtain special “metallic effects” which stand out in 2 finishes: 67 cromo, 70 ghisa.
The different finishes allow a perfect match between the sink and the other stainless steel components in the kitchen.

The material Granitek has an antibacterial protection, which has an adequate antibacterial coverage of the mass. In this way the bacterial organisms are repelled.
The mass is in fact enriched with silver ions that inhibit the establishment and growth of bacteria.

Granitek is given by the union ofnatural granite and acrylic resin and has the best quality: high resistance of granite to high temperatures, to impacts and to the most violent shocks.
The selection of colored granite and the variation of the combination of its shades determine the color of the finished product.

Ceramization: is a specific colouring process of the granite particle.
The painting is not only on the surface but in the entire mass of the particle through a firing process at very high temperatures.
