Elleci involved in social work

"NDUGU MDOGO" PROJECT

In occasion of Christmas 2007 Elleci decided to actively support a developmental project for the homeless children in Nairobi, Kenya.

"Ndugu Mdogo" (Little Brother) is the name of the social project supported from Elleci and managed from Amani Ngo (in kiswahili the word Amani means "peace") together with the local partner Koinonia Community.

Our contribution allowed to realize a building for first aid and assistance for all the Nairobi homeless children, which in the huge area named Kibera, are forced to survive alone without any affection and help of an adult.

In July 2008 an Elleci delegation has been personally in Kenya to see the house and it was an unforgettable and touching experience, because the company entered in contact with a completely different reality from the everyday one.

Elleci is intentioned to continue on this way, pursuing to support this cause through an yearly contribution, hoping not to feel like "a drop in the ocean" but representing a solid aid.
