How to choose a hood
Before any other choice, it is important to identify the aesthetic model of hood which best suits the furnishing of your kitchen and still reflects his own taste. Hoods
All models of Elleci can operate in “exhausting” way, in which the air is sucked and expelled outside. The hood is equipped by a special valve that allows the expulsion of fumes, avoiding that cold air from outside enters home. In case there is no possibility
of expelling the air outside the home, it is necessary that the hood is equipped with carbon filters (therefore operating in “filtering”
way) through which the air is purified and re-entered the environment. This configuration requires a careful maintenance of carbon filters.
The pipes must have an adequate diameter (at least 120 mm) and, in case of external connection, it has not to be long and
winding, because the performance of the hood could suffer in operating.
Grease filter
Grease filter is always needed and it has a double function. It protects the internal parts, avoiding that the greases exhausted
from the hood damage the electrical components, particularly the engine.
Carbon filters
Carbon filters have to be applied when the hood is installed in filtering version and their function is to purify the air.
This operation is allowed thanks to the great capacity of this vegetable substance, the active carbon, to retain particles and
substances, before re - entering the air in to the environment. The carbon filters are not washable orrenewable and they have to be replaced regularly. The carbon saturation depends on the use of the appliance, the type of cooking and the regularity of grease filters cleaning.

Every hood is equipped with Timer, intensive speed, filter saturation signal and "Clean air" function which ensures a continuous
air change in complete absence of noise.
