The Italian sector leader repeats last year’s triumph with the innovative SINTESI 510

Milan, 31 March 2022 – Elleci, the world-leading manufacturer of kitchen sinks, announces its winning of the acclaimed Red Dot Design Award 2022 for SINTESI 510, the innovative sink with exceptional functionality and design from the LAB product line.

Already a winner in 2021 with the Best of the Best award, Elleci repeats its success with the jewel of the LAB collection, winning the hotly contested Red Dot Design Award 2022 for Product Design, thanks to its futuristic vision of finite space, infinite possibilities embodied in a product with unparalleled functionality and ergonomics.

The triumph of the SINTESI 510 – chosen by an international panel of 50 design experts from 51 different product categories – confirms Elleci as a design pioneer for its well-judged interpretation of the food prep area with a new concept of sink as workstation, at the very heart of food preparation.

Functionality and convenience, optimisation of space and ease of use are the ingredients that guide the SINTESI collection as it rethinks the concept of ergonomics with a minimalist product of unmistakable style: the SINTESI 510 comprises an XXL bowl, the first composite 116 cm sink with an extra-capacity single bowl (width 72 cm) and a draining board, inspired by the shift towards fluid processes and rational working practices that minimise unnecessary movements.
